Study Tour - An excursion designed with an emphasis on history, archaeology, and geography. Undergrads or graduate students may receive credit for the Study Tour. Groups move with energy and stay in budget level accomodations.

Pilgrimage Tour - An excursion designed for one or more church groups. Emphasis here is placed on group synergy, personal reflection, and introducing the context of the biblical story. Comfortable accommodations and easy pace make pilgrimage tours appealing to travelers of all ages.

Extreme Adventure - An excursion that contains academic or spiritual elements, but also pushes the envelope in physical or other ways.

Egypt and Sinai

Details: This is the excursion of a lifetime! Pyramids, camel riding, climbing Mt Sinai, scuba/snorkeling in the Red Sea, a 4-day cruise up the Nile, Thebes, Aswan, are among some of the activities on this excursion. An optional Jordanian extension will add Petra and the Dead Sea to this amazing adventure of legs, head, and heart. Mark will develop biblical themes to knit these experiences together. We aim to explore several of the great parks, including the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. Bring a camera and binoculars. We’ll be in pursuit of big game by means of four-wheel drive vehicles. We also will pursue the “Great Migration,” one of the wonders of the natural world. In the evenings we will tent camp (translate: “glamp”) in the bush.
